When you decide to invest in a Single Pass printer, the next big question isn’t about DPI or speed—it’s about logistics. You’ll likely see terms like EXW, FOB, or CIF on your proforma invoice. Choosing the wrong one can lead to unexpected costs and logistical nightmares.

1. EXW (Ex Works): The "Factory Gate" Deal

In an EXW agreement, Foofon makes the machine available at our factory. You are responsible for everything else—from picking it up to clearing customs in China and your home country.

Best for: Buyers who have a very strong relationship with a Chinese freight forwarder.
Risk: High. If the truck driver drops the machine 5 miles from our factory, it is your responsibility.

2. FOB (Free On Board): The Industry Standard

This is the most common term. Foofon handles everything within China (transport to the port, export licenses, and loading onto the ship). Once the machine is on the vessel, the risk transfers to you.

Best for: Most international buyers. It gives you control over the sea freight costs while we handle the complex Chinese export bureaucracy.

3. CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): The "Hands-Off" Option

We handle the transport all the way to your destination port and include insurance.

Best for: New buyers or those who want a “one-stop” price.
